Media monitoring for this baseline report was conducted from January-April 2023. This period was selected to be relatively reflective of the political environment in the first quarter of the election year. The period under review was characterized by various election preparation activities which include the finalization of the delimitation report and its contests, voter registration, primary elections, election violence as well primary elections in Zanu PF and The Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC). 1.1.1 Media Monitoring Methodology
